House Guidelines & Policies
👥 Guest Occupancy
Total occupancy is strictly limited to a maximum of 9 people. This limit includes any daytime visitors to the property.
🚫 No Events or Parties
No parties, weddings, or group events are permitted to be held at any Boardwalk rental property.
🔥 No Fireworks or Bonfires
For safety and environmental reasons, fireworks and open beach bonfires are entirely prohibited at the property.
🚭 Smoke-Free Environment
Sea Glass is completely smoke-free. Smoking of any kind is entirely prohibited anywhere on the premises.
❄️ Thermostat Operation
Please use the Nest thermostat responsibly. Set the AC to 75 degrees during warm weather, and turn the heating to 68 degrees during cold weather seasons.
🛏️ Furnishings & Care
Please turn off all lights, ceiling fans, TVs, and the coffee maker when leaving. Ensure any interior furniture or decor moved during your stay is returned back to its original position before you check out.
Official Check-Out Procedures
A gentle reminder that check-out time is strictly at 9:30 AM.
🧺 Laundry & Linens
Please start a load of laundry in the washing machine before leaving. Kindly wash the bath towels specifically to prevent excess buildup that might delay the next guest's check-in schedule.
🍽️ Kitchen Cleanup
Empty the refrigerator and freezer completely of all food items. Clean and neatly return all dishes, pots, and cookware back to their original locations. Load any final items into the dishwasher and start the cleaning cycle.
🗑️ Trash & Cans
Please place outdoor trash cans at the end of the driveway on Tuesday and Friday nights for overnight/early-morning pickup. If departing on Saturday morning, please roll the outdoor can out to the street corner if it has been emptied.
🔑 Window Locks & Key Return
Check all rooms for personal items, close and secure all windows, and lock the doors. You must return both sets of physical house keys directly to the Boardwalk Realty office located at 1804 Bienville Blvd. If departing before office hours, slide the keys into the secure slot to the right of their office door labeled "Key Return".
⚠️ Beach Gear & Maintenance Reporting
Check the outdoor decks and the ground space underneath the home for beach items. Do not leave broken items behind (such as damaged sun tents, boogie boards, or pool floats). Properly dispose of small trash, and contact the office the day prior to departure to arrange removal for large broken items like pop-up canopy frames, as the standard trash service will not pick them up.
Please notify Boardwalk Realty at 877-861-3992 prior to departure if you encounter any maintenance malfunctions or property damages so repairs can be scheduled in advance.
